Fort Lupton High School

Career Explore is a dynamic program at Fort Lupton High School that helps disengaged students reconnect to their education through career studies, rigorous projects, and renewed hope in their future prospects.

Throughout our pilot program from January, 2019 to May, 2019, one of our seniors Julian Cardona was charged with telling our story through pictures, interviews, and print materials.  For Julian's senior capstone project he produced this video, telling our story and showing why career explore matters.

We support previously disengaged students through a flexible learning schedule, real world project based learning, essential soft skills instruction, and  providing work based experiences and internships through community and business partners.

Every student is capable of learning, but not every educational design is capable of teaching.  When blocks of students are not learning, it is the responsibility of educators and communities to adjust their teaching and education.  Fort Lupton and its high school has done just that with Career Explore.

We are constantly looking for new ways to build connections with community and business.  Please contact us if you would like to learn more or get involved with our program in any way.
